Sr. Accountant

Description Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. This role is ideal for a wellu2011rounded accountant who enjoys variety, problemu2011solving, and getting involved across multiple areas of accounting. The position offers handsu2011on exposure to core accounting functions and close collaboration with the broader finance team. Key Responsibilities + Perform dayu2011tou2011day accounting activities including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) + Prepare and post journal entries, including monthly accruals + Complete account reconciliations and investigate variances + Support the monthu2011end close process + Assist with fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, and depreciation + Maintain accurate financial records and documentation + Support ad hoc accounting projects and process improvements as needed Requirements Qualifications + 5+ years of accounting experience with exposure to multiple accounting functions + Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, but open to candidates with an Associateu2019s degree in Accounting and relevant experience + Solid understanding of general accounting principles + Experience supporting monthu2011end close processes + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ideal Candidate Profile + Curious, problemu2011solving minded, and eager to learn + Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fastu2011paced environment + Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently + Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
