General Laborer

Job Title: General Laborer Job Description The End of Line Operator is responsible for completing delegated tasks and handling scrap with dedication and proficiency to ensure customer satisfaction. This hands-on role involves managing inventory, proper storage, and transferring shipments to the warehouse while complying with all legal and safety procedures. The position requires close collaboration with the Line Manager. Responsibilities + Manage all activities and operations at the end of the line. + Follow all safety, process, and operational procedures for cutters and grinders. + Complete paperwork and End of Line SPC Tests every 30 minutes. + Conduct LT% checks every 15 minutes and make necessary corrections. + Identify basic sheet faults and notify appropriate personnel of unusual issues. + Inform the shift leader or line/operations manager about quality and process concerns. + Perform Appendix changes including Tape, PE, barcodes, AS/AF, etc. + Replace tape and barcodes as needed. + Execute length and width changes. + Conduct pallet changes and inkjet messaging. + Enter orders in SAP. + Perform other duties and activities as directed. Essential Skills + Experience as a Machine Operator in manufacturing or production environments. + Knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes. + Adherence to safe manufacturing and material handling practices. + 6 months of manufacturing or production experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Proficiency in SAP is advantageous. + Ability to achieve 75% completion in categories PPF-01, 04, 09, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 before advancing to Operator-in-Training status. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Smithsville, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.50/hr.
