Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong foundation in HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, minor carpentry, and more. The role involves performing routine maintenance and repairs, reading equipment manuals, and interpreting work orders to ensure the smooth operation of facilities. Responsibilities + Perform HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting, including RTUs. + Perform plumbing, electrical, and minor carpentry tasks. + Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance and service. + Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance, completing necessary records. + Repair faucets, toilets, and sewer systems, including cast iron and copper pipe repairs. + Troubleshoot air compressors, dryers, and airline supply systems. + Understand aging requirements such as handrails, grab bars, and ADA accessible bathrooms. + Maintain building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs. + Perform carpentry, furniture assembly, and locksmith tasks. + Conduct electrical maintenance and repair, including fixtures, ceiling fans, outlets, switches, and service upgrades. + Repair plumbing fixtures, faucets, sinks, toilets, showers, garbage disposals, and supply lines. + Repair flooring, tiling, and countertops with various materials. + Complete exterior projects such as fencing, gutters, siding, painting, landscaping, and snow removal. + Perform interior and exterior painting and staining. + Conduct light cleaning and general housekeeping tasks. + Monitor shop tools' location and care. + Respond promptly to emergency situations, calling for additional assistance as needed. + Attend factory-sponsored training classes. + Refer to SDS when using chemicals and abide by personal protective equipment requirements. + Follow federal, state, and local regulations on hazardous waste disposal. + Ensure EPA compliance in disposing of used oil and grease. + Collaborate with all departments harmoniously. + Notify managers of major repairs or additions needed for building systems. + Stay informed of new equipment and tools, recommending purchases. + Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies manually or using hand trucks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Union Grove, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
