Construction Surveyor

Job Title: Construction Surveyor Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Construction Surveyor to join our self-perform concrete construction group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction staking, setting control points, and performing takeoff calculations. This role focuses on fieldwork but also offers opportunities to engage in preconstruction planning, takeoffs, and constructability analysis. Responsibilities + Perform construction staking and set control points accurately. + Conduct takeoff calculations to ensure project precision. + Assist with preconstruction takeoff and constructability assessments. + Utilize ground penetrating radar (GPR) and 3D scanning technology. + Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective project execution. Essential Skills + 3+ years of experience in construction staking and surveying. + Proficiency in setting control points. + Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D software. + Strong knowledge of construction staking and land surveying techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in ground penetrating radar (GPR) is an advantage. + Building construction experience is crucial. + Ability to adapt from land surveying in heavy highway contexts. Work Environment The role requires work in the field with travel to various work sites, including locations from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs and Vail. The company provides a truck for personal use, and there is only one other surveyor currently, offering rapid advancement opportunities. The position offers the potential for growth into project management or other business areas. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.
