About the Role: As a CBRE Managing Director, you will serve as a senior-level strategic partner focused on accelerating enterprise investor leasing growth across the U.S. retail sector. This job is part of the Brokerage job function. They are responsible for the buying, selling, and leasing of retail and commercial properties on behalf of clients, with a specific focus on enterprise-level investor relationships and portfolio strategy. What Youu2019ll Do Investor Growth & Enterprise Strategy + Develop and execute a national strategy to systematicallyimprove investor client outcomes,grow investor leasing revenue, expand listing share, and improve win rates on large and complex pursuits. + Lead and support enterpriselevel investor pursuits, transforming singleeassetleasing assignments into coordinated, portfoliowide engagements. + Partner with senior leadership to advance highpriority retail growth initiatives aligned with national and regional businessobjectives. Product Modernization & Client Differentiation + Design and scale modern leasing products and service models aligned to the needs of institutional retail investors, including national leasing and portfoliolevel advisory solutions. + Elevate enterprise pursuit strategy, client engagement models, and national investor coordination to improve consistency, efficiency, and differentiation. + Apply deep retail market knowledge, tenant trends, and investorinsightto inform leasing strategy, merchandising positioning, and competitive advantage. Consistency, Economics & Broker Enablement + Drive greater consistency in delivery across markets byestablishingbest practices, standards, and tools that elevate execution quality and client experience. + Support brokerage teams in developing strategic plans and portfolio-based approaches that strengthen investor relationships and outcomes. + Support, whereappropriate, on upleveling investor leasing talent to be thevery bestacross the Americas. Enterprise Integration & Relationship Leadership + Engage directly with senior real estate executives, REIT leaders, private equity investors, and ownership groups,operatingcredibly at theCsuitelevel. + Collaborate across advisory and service disciplines u2014 including property management, capital markets, and occupier services u2014 to deliver integrated solutions that deepen relationships and expand wallet share. + Maintain an ownership and portfolio-level or enterprise mindset at all times on behalf of clients. Leadership & Influence + Operate independently toidentifyopportunities, influence stakeholders, and mobilize enterprise resources in complex, multimarket environments. + Lead by example with strong executive presence, influencing internal and externalstakeholdersand driving alignment across diverse teams. + Identifyand solve multidimensional business challenges byleveragingdata, partnerships, and market insight. Market Coverage + Drive business development and client engagement across major U.S. retail priority growth markets. Regular travel isrequired. What Youu2019ll Need + Extensive experience inenterprise-levelretail investor or agency leasingand advisory. Client-side experience is strongly preferred. Asset management experience is strongly preferred. + Proventrack recordof developing and expanding relationships with institutional retail owners, REITs, private equity investors, and senior real estate decisionmakers. + Demonstrated ability tooperateindependently in a senior, revenuedriven role focused on strategy, growth, and influence rather than daytodayoperations. + Strong executive presence, strategic thinking capability, and ability to drive consensus across complex organizations. + Experience leading or supporting large, multimarket retail pursuits andportfoliolevelclient engagements. + High business acumen with the ability to translate market conditions, tenant demand, and investor priorities into actionable growth strategies. + Willingness and ability to travel regularly to major U.S. retail markets. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidateu2019s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Electrician position is $47 per hour and the maximum salary is $53 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidateu2019s skills, qualifications, and experience.
