Job Title: Engineering Systems Administration ManagerJob Description The Engineering Systems Administration Manager is responsible for analyzing, coordinating, and processing engineering change requests and orders in the designated Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. This role involves working cross-functionally with various teams including Engineering, Software, Quality, Product Management, and Compliance to ensure accurate and efficient completion of change requests and orders, while minimizing errors, rework, and delays. Responsibilities + Analyze and coordinate engineering change requests and orders. + Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Software, Quality, Product Management, and Compliance teams. + Conduct impact analyses and assess change readiness. + Identify, prepare, and follow-up with internal stakeholders on required actions. + Create part numbers, assembly numbers, and structure BOMs in the PLM system. + Leverage change management methodology, process, and tools to support project rollouts. + Delegate activities within stakeholders to ensure complete and timely implementation of changes. + Demonstrate understanding of New Product Introduction systems and Sustaining Engineering activities. + Serve as a subject matter expert on the change control process and the PLM system. Essential Skills + Minimum 4 years' experience with systems engineering changes in new product and/or sustaining projects. + Minimum 5 years experience and expert proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, etc.). + Minimum 2 years experience and proficiency with IT software and a PLM system. + Hands-on experience working with ERP/MRP systems. + Associated degree in engineering with 8-10+ years of experience or 4+ years with BSEE, Industrial, or BSCE. Additional Skills & Qualifications + ERP system experience, preferably with the person's system. + PLM system experience, preferably with ARAS. + Experience in systems management and design engineering. + Experience in electronics manufacturing and change management. Work Environment This role involves working in a high-tech environment on long-term projects. The candidate will engage with cross-functional engineering teams and apply their expertise in systems engineering changes for both new and sustaining projects. The work setting is dynamic and requires adaptability to various engineering technologies and methodologies. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
