As an Infrastructure Engineer Sr. within PNC's Technology organization, you can be based in Pittsburgh PA, Cleveland OH or Birmingham AL. PNC is seeking a Windows Platform Engineer to work project/solution delivery within PNCu2019s Desktop Engineering team. Particular engineering focus will be placed on PNCu2019s ATM platform which uses Windows 10 on Diebold, NCR, Hyosung and other ATM hardware. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: u2022 A wide range of Windows Desktop experience in an environment where scale matters. u2022 Proven ability to deliver improvement in all areas for new and existing technologies, (more capable, more scalable, faster, easier to support, cheaper, etc.). u2022 Have extensive experience with Microsoftu2019s Operating System Deployment methodology including MECM OSD, MDT & USMT. u2022 Proven experience in developing and executing on the product/project lifecycle including selection, design, test, certify, implement, support and optimize. u2022 Strong background in many desktop technologies working for large, complex organizations. Including at least expert knowledge in 3 of the following areas u2013 MECM, Windows Group Policy, Powershell, desktop/laptop encryption. u2022 Experience in drift / configuration management via automation is desired. u2022 Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills u2022 The passion and ability to make a difference in projects of all sizes. u2022 Any experience with ATMu2019s running Windows 10 is a major plus. Uses technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain technology solutions. + Develops software components and hardware for complex projects; aligns these with business strategies and objectives. + Provides expertise on best practices, standards, engineering approaches and complex technical resolutions for processes. + Places emphasis on quality improvement efforts; ensures that deliverables are secure, scalable and reliable through estimation and correction. + Communicates with customers and integrates their needs with development, to meet business objectives. Education Bachelors Certifications No Required Certification(s) Licenses No Required License(s) Pay Transparency Base Salary: $65,000.00 u2013 $171,925.00 Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
