Job Requisition ID # 26WD96112 Position Overview Autodesk is seeking a Senior Data Product Manager to lead the strategy and evolution of our Customer Journey Data Set (CJDS), a next-generation event data product built on telemetry from web platforms and event-driven product applications. This role will own the product vision and roadmap for transforming raw event streams into trusted, governed, AI-ready data assets that power Product-Led Growth (PLG), experimentation, personalization, customer insights, and enterprise decision-making across Autodesk. Youu2019ll work with teammates across the globe and will travel up to 15% of the time for face-to-face meetings like conferences, team offsites, and team visits. We prefer for this role to be hybrid to our San Francisco office, Atlanta office or Portland office. If not in the Bay Area, the travel could be up to 20% travel. Responsibilities + Define and articulate the vision for the event-driven data product(s). + Identify key personas (analytics, data science, growth, product, ML, exec, etc.) and their needs. + Conduct regular evaluations of changing user needs + Translate business objectives into data product capabilities + Develop and maintain a clear roadmap aligned with measurable outcomes + Drive the standardization of event taxonomy, naming conventions, and instrumentation guidelines + Partner with Engineering and Architects to ensure scalable, consistent event generation across web and business applications + Ensure alignment between raw event streams and business metrics + Define data SLAs and quality standards + Partner with data engineering to implement validation, monitoring, and observability + Ensure compliance with privacy and governance requirements + Create documentation and discoverability standards for data assets + Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects and Engineering teams to align on instrumentation needs + Work closely with analytics and data science teams to prioritize use cases + Communicate roadmap, tradeoffs, and impact clearly to leadership + Evangelize data product adoption across teams + Continuously evaluate a rapidly evolving data and AI ecosystem, translate into recommended changes to roadmap + Partner with Data Engineering on backlog prioritization + Define success metrics for the data product + Manage iterative releases and continuous improvement + Drive adoption and measure product usage and value realization Minimum Qualifications + 7+ years in Product Management, preferably in data, analytics, or platform products + Experience working with event-driven architectures and telemetry data + Strong understanding of data modeling (event-based schemas, dimensional modeling, semantic layers) + Experience collaborating with Architecture and Data Engineering and analytics teams + Knowledge of event tracking systems (e.g., web analytics, CDPs, instrumentation frameworks) + Strong prioritization and outcome-driven thinking + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Proven ability to deliver internal data platforms or data products + Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $128,000 and $228,690. Offers are based on the candidateu2019s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
