What Youu2019ll Do + Working within a team, design, implement, and test secure, scalable frameworks for autonomous AI agents. + Build intelligent automation and conversational capabilities using state-of-the-art GenAI and Agentic AI products. + Develop and maintain MCP server integrations for robust and efficient runtime execution. + Collaborate with AI researchers, platform and database engineers, and product managers to bring cutting-edge agentic capabilities to production. + Build foundational infrastructure and tools for multi-agent collaboration, memory/context management, and extensibility. + Drive enterprise-wide adoption of AI agents through easy integration and safe execution. + Leverage containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable, resilient deployments. + Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, GPT, MCP-integrated IDEs) to enhance productivity and code quality. You will report to the director of Autonomous Database and Workload Management. What Makes You a Qualified Candidate Weu2019re seeking a hands-on, Sr. Professional AI Engineer to contribute to the design and development of intelligent, scalable, and cloud-native AI systems. _Your Qualifications_ + Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. + 2+ years of experience in software development, backend systems, or AI infrastructure, with strong proficiency in Python and working knowledge of additional languages such as Java, Go, and C++. + Experience in building advanced agent-based architectures and runtime components for next-generation AI and LLM-driven solutions. + Ability to work with product leaders, architects, and platform teams to design, implement, and test our next-generation agent platform. What Youu2019ll Bring + Experience / expertise in agent development, LLM integration, prompt engineering, and runtime systems. + Experience / expertise in MCP servers, vector databases, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture, and NLP frameworks. + Experience in building autonomous agents, and leveraging AI tooling to create intelligent systems + Background in backend service development, API design, and building scalable distributed systems. + Familiarity / experience with SQL Database Engines and concepts, specifically schemas and indexing. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex, distributed environments. + Excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to mentor and collaborate effectively. + Passion for building safe, human-aligned autonomous systems. + Knowledge of open-source tools and technologies, and how to extend them for innovative solutions.
