Job Information Technical Support Specialist II

Description We are seeking a hands-on Technical Support Specialist II to provide Level 2 onsite/deskside support to employees at a corporate headquarters in Alpharetta, GA. This role is part of a broader Global Infrastructure & Enterprise Services organization (150+ professionals supporting 13,000+ global users) and plays a key role in ensuring stable, high-quality IT operations for a fast-paced, growing enterprise. This position is ideal for an early-career support professional (typically 1u20133 years experience) who wants to grow quickly, work directly with end users, and gain deep exposure to enterpriseu2011grade tools and environments. You will partner closely with Level 1 Service Desk teams and collaborate with Level 3 engineering groups to ensure efficient incident resolution, excellent customer service, and strong documentation standards. Key Responsibilities: u00b7 Provide Level 2 onsite/deskside support for Windows and macOS laptops (walk-ups + ticket queue). u00b7 Perform device lifecycle management: provisioning, imaging/enrollment, Autopilot builds, swaps, repairs coordination, leaver processing, SSD removals, and inventory control. u00b7 Administer endpoint management tools: u2022 Windows: Autopilot / Intune u2022 MacOS: Jamf Pro (policies, profiles, deployments, troubleshooting) u00b7 Troubleshoot collaboration tools: Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive. u00b7 Resolve identity and access issues via Azure AD / Entra ID (MFA, SSO, access groups, device compliance). u00b7 Support Teams Rooms / AV equipment and coordinate vendor escalations. u00b7 Maintain accurate documentation and ticket updates in ServiceNow. u00b7 Identify recurring issues and contribute to knowledge base articles and process improvements. u00b7 Perform physical hardware tasks including RAM/SSD upgrades, troubleshooting peripherals, and supporting mobile devices. Requirements Qualifications: u00b7 Strong hands-on experience supporting macOS / MacBooks in enterprise environments. u00b7 Experience using Jamf Pro or similar Apple device management platforms. u00b7 Experience supporting Windows endpoints using Autopilot/Intune. u00b7 Working knowledge of Azure AD / Entra ID (MFA, SSO, identity troubleshooting, group access). u00b7 Strong customer service abilities and communication skills. u00b7 Demonstrated troubleshooting ability across hardware, software, network basics, and user access issues. u00b7 Experience working onsite in a fast-paced corporate setting. u00b7 Ability to maintain detailed, accurate ticketing and documentation standards. Preferred Qualifications: u00b7 Basic exposure to Ubuntu Linux (CLI familiarity, light troubleshooting). u00b7 Understanding of basic networking concepts: DNS, Wi-Fi, VPN troubleshooting. u00b7 Knowledge of endpoint security tools or workflows (e.g., Microsoft Defender, encryption, compliance policies). u00b7 Familiarity with conditional access concepts. u00b7 Experience supporting conference room AV systems, especially Microsoft Teams Rooms.
