Position Summary: TheClinical Supervisor at River Valley Counseling Center (RVCC) isresponsible for overseeing the clinical evaluation and treatment ofclients across all age groups, while also providing direct care asneeded. This role includes supervising and training both exempt andnon-exempt staff, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards,ensuring high-quality documentation, and supporting program developmentand quality improvement initiatives. The Clinical Supervisor fosterscollaborative relationships, promotes a positive work environment, andensures that services are culturally competent and aligned with RVCC'smission and goals. Key Responsibilities: To support all aspects ofRVCC's Mission statement & clientele To oversee clinical evaluations ofclients of all ages and families To provide direct care to clients andfamilies To summarize findings and treatment plan in accordance withRVCC procedures for treatment/services and present the same to amultidisciplinary case disposition team. To participate inmultidisciplinary team meetings(UR) To oversee any necessary outreach,advocacy, or case consultation appropriate to meet the needs of theclients and their families To prepare for and participate and/or conductregular supervision. To monitor performance of staff to ensure adherenceto RVCC and clinical policies and procedures and take appropriate actionas necessary. To mediate staff complaints and grievances and refer tothe Human Resources department, as appropriate. To participate activelyin research, quality assurance or program development and monitoring. Toensure that accurate and prompt documentation in client's recordsoccurs, and that client referral forms for other agencies and facilitiesare completed on a timely basis. To provide crisis care, as necessary.To attend and conduct staff meetings on a regular basis. To ensure thatstaff evaluations are completed in a timely manner. Qualifications:Required: Education Level - Master's degree with a concentration inhuman services, counseling, clinical psychology, or social work. Yearsof Experience - Three years of experience as a therapist with at leastone year in a supervisory capacity; strong background in familyinterventions, including chemical dependencies Skills/Abilities -Excellent verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills;crisis intervention skills; organizational skills; attention to detail;computer skills; good customer relations skills; knowledge of legal andethical issues pertaining to the profession.
