Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking an Industrial Cleanerto join their team on 2nd and 3rd shifts. As a Industrial Cleaner, you will be part of the manufacturing department.The ideal candidate will needprevious industrial cleaning experience,reliability, and able to work around fiberglasswhich will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Industrial Cleaner Location: ALTAVISTA, VA Pay Range: $15.45 Shift: 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. or 12 a.m. to 8 a.m. What's the Job? Inspect the job area daily and determine which machines need cleaning Clean machines, maintain supplies, and operate cleaning equipment Sweep floors and vacuum ceiling areas around machinery Transport and dump trash, operate trash compactors Clean and remove yarn from tubes for reuse, load yarn on pin trucks What's Needed? High School diploma or GED required Minimum of 1 year janitorial experience required Ability to perform casual labor tasks efficiently Background check and drug screening required Experience working in a fiberglass environment preferred Availabilityto work 6 days a week is required What's in it for me?
