Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Location: Cumming, Georgia Job Type: Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (High Possibility of Extension) Shift: Tuesday - Friday | 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week Compensation Pay Rate: $45 - $50 per hour Note: Travel or housing reimbursements are not provided. Position Summary A healthcare facility in Cumming, GA is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures for both inpatient and outpatient populations. The technologist will be responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images while ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment standards, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities Perform radiographic imaging procedures for inpatient and outpatient patients Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images Assist physicians during C-arm procedures and fluoroscopic exams Support procedures such as lumbar punctures and routine X-ray imaging Prepare patients for imaging procedures and provide clear instructions Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety practices Maintain accurate patient documentation in electronic medical record systems Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during procedures Maintain imaging equipment and report any technical issues when necessary Follow facility policies, radiation safety standards, and infection control protocols Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Technology experience Experience with Operating Room (OR) procedures and Fluoroscopy Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical record system Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging procedures Excellent communication and patient care skills Education Requirements Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Certifications & Licensure ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association For more details reach at or Call / Text at 516-587-6677.
