All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship. Riverside Research is seeking a full-time Radar Systems Engineer in Warner Robins, GA. This position will provide systems engineering, acquisition and sustainment support services to the AFLCMC Special Projects program office located at Robins Air Force Base. The position will assist in the preparation, review, and integration of acquisition, sustainment and technical documentation. This will include planning and initiating development of program documents and reports required to support the program.The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, an independent problem solver, and have excellent communication skills both written and oral. They must also be able to enjoy learning and applying new technologies, and thrive in a dynamic, engineering-oriented work environment. All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship.Support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) in requirement development, design, deployment, and sustainment of radar systemsReview and articulate requirements from directives, instructions, plans, and other documents and include recommended courses of actionIdentify and assess issues and develop risk reduction/mitigation approaches for improving program planning, control, and executionPrepare, review, and integrate required milestone review documentation, periodic reports, and certificationsProvide reviews of deliverables, milestone schedules, status reports, and cost performance reports; determine accuracy of information and identify any inconsistenciesPrepare and present briefings and reportsAttend meetings and participate in other travel as neededRequired:Active DoD Secret Security Clearance,Must be eligible to obtain a DoD TS/SCI Security ClearanceBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field and 12 years related experience, 8 years with a Master's, 5 years with a PhD; 15 years of directly related experience may be substituted for degree requirement10+ years of previous experience in Radar and/or Systems EngineeringAbility to establish priorities and meet deadlines effectivelyDemonstrated experience with DoD acquisition process from either Government or prime development contractor experience.Excellent communications skills both written and oralPossess a comprehensive knowledge on best practices of the requirements process and product life-cycle planningDemonstrated experience using all MS Office products, including MS Project and VisioDesired:Previous experience in:Ballistic Missile DefenseBallistic Missile Technical CollectionsSpace Based Radar ApplicationsSpace Situational Awareness ExperienceWhole Life Engineering ExperienceExperience in executing Radar System Sustainment Studies and experience with Windows, Linux, and AIX Operating Systems$125,000 - $200,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
