School Aides Needed in El Monte Schedule: Mondayu2013Friday, 8:00 AMu20133:00 PM Pay: $18u2013$21/hour (DOE) Start Date: ASAP About the Role Weu2019re seeking a dedicated School Aide to support students who need instructional and behavioral assistance throughout the school day. Under the direction of the special education department, classroom teacher, or designated supervisor, youu2019ll help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment. This position may also involve assisting students with personal care, mobility needs, and therapeutic activities as directed by licensed specialists or health professionals. What Youu2019ll Do + Support students with classroom activities, behavior plans, and daily routines. + Assist teachers and specialists in implementing instructional and behavioral strategies. + Provide personal care or mobility assistance to students when needed. + Help maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive classroom environment. + Communicate effectively with staff regarding student needs and progress. + Follow all school, district, and program guidelines. Minimum Requirements + High school diploma or equivalent + Ability to follow professional standards of practice + Current CPR certification, if required + TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest X-ray, if required + Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulations) + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years old Ideal For Candidates who enjoy working with students, are patient and supportive, and want to make a meaningful impact in a school setting.
