Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Floater Medical Receptionist receives and correctly routes incoming and outgoing telephone calls and accommodates visitors so that all callers/visitors are attended to promptly, courteously, and accurately. The Medical Receptionist performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments. Location : CenterWell Senior Primary Care office address: [Poinciana] 1050 Cypress Parkway; Kissimmee, FL 34759 Floater Medical Receptionist Role Overview: The Floater Medical Receptionist operates a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintains long distance call logs. Takes and distributes accurate messages. Greets visitors and determines the nature of their visit, issues visitor passes and maintains visitor logs, alerts appropriate party of visitor arrival or directs visitors to appropriate office, department or employee. Responds to routine inquiries from internal or external sources such as the organization's location, hours of operation, phone numbers, and/or email address. Additional responsibilities may include miscellaneous administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing and distributing mail, receiving and sending courier packages. Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation. Use your skills to make an impact Additional Information Required Qualifications u2022Experience in a fast pace/high volume environment u2022Minimum of 1-year professional experience as a Medical Receptionist in u2018front-officeu2019 direct patient care contact u2022Experience with MS Outlook u2022Basic Computer knowledge u2022 Bilingual (English/Spanish) u2022Must be a team player with excellent communication skills u2022Willingness to learn and be cross trained in other roles based on business need Preferred Qualifications u2022Experience with HEDIS u2022Experience with Electronic Medical Records u2022Previous experience in a geriatric setting Working hours: Clinic hours are Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM Scheduled 32 hours per week _Mileage is reimbursed & Local travel is required for this
