For more information, visit Job Summary Join us as a Resident District Manager (RDM) leading all aspects of a large multi-unit dining K12 account located in Lansing, MI . You'll be the primary liaison and business authority for the client, leading your team to operational success while encouraging strong client relationships and upholding our mission to nourish students. Responsibilities: u2022 Leading, managing, and motivating a diverse team to deliver outstanding service to the client, students, and community. u2022 Driving team development and building client relationships to achieve key performance indicators. u2022 Participating in district leadership and peer collaboration to share best practices and mitigate risks. u2022 Making strategic decisions with input from the team, ensuring alignment with short and long-term goals. u2022 Encouraging a culture of transparency, education, safety, and accountability. u2022 Representing Chartwells at client and community events as a brand ambassador. u2022 Ensuring client needs are met, identifying cross-sell opportunities, and supporting the rebid process. u2022 Supporting operational functions including safety, marketing, nutrition, and culinary. u2022 Ensuring compliance with regulations and completing required reporting accurately and on time. u2022 Developing team members through performance evaluations and succession planning. u2022 Leading financial results and budgeting processes accurately. u2022 Coordinating policies and procedures consistently and fairly. u2022 Performing other duties as assigned to support efficient operation. Required Qualifications: u2022 Bachelor's degree in foodservice or hospitality management, per USDA Professional Standards. Preferred Qualifications: u2022 Bachelor's degree and minimum of three (3) years of management experience in foodservice or hospitality. u2022 Strong background in foodservice management with shown success. u2022 Leadership experience, excellent communication, and financial competence. u2022 Proven initiative, critical thinking, and organizational skills. u2022 Proactive, inclusive, professional, and resilient demeanor. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and POS software. Occasional travel required.
