VTL Machinist - 3rd Shift

CNC VTL Machinist u2013 Aerospace (3rd Shift) Location: Metro Detroit, MI (Warren area) Pay: Starting at $23/hour + 15% shift differential Schedule: Mondayu2013Friday, 11:00 PM u2013 7:00 AM Employment Type: Direct Hire Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer in the Metro Detroit area to identify experienced CNC VTL Machinists for 3rd shift opportunities. This is a great opportunity to join a stable, high-precision manufacturing environment supporting both commercial and military aerospace programs. Key Responsibilities: + Operate CNC Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) machines + Run multiple machines simultaneously within machining cells when applicable + Machine large parts ranging from approximately 30u201d to 70u201d in diameter + Work with hard metals including Inconel, Titanium, and Stainless Steel + Read and interpret blueprints, customer specifications, and operation sheets + Utilize Fanuc controls and perform offsets as needed + Load/unload parts and fixtures using hoists and lifting equipment + Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure quality standards + Maintain tight tolerances in high-precision aerospace applications + Set up tooling and read tool sheets as required + Support additional machining and production tasks as needed Qualifications: + 5+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred) + Experience machining large parts and working with tight tolerances + Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge + Experience with Fanuc controls and making machine offsets + Ability to read and interpret CNC programs at the machine + Experience with precision measuring equipment + Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment + Comfortable standing for extended periods and working on machine platforms + Willingness to work overtime as needed + Must be authorized to work in the United States This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist looking to grow within a well-established aerospace manufacturing environment.
