You will be part of our rapidly growing Infrastructure Design Department, which includes structural, geotechnical, civil, drainage, roadway, rail, and materials disciplines, is a multi-faceted and leading-edge division of Kiewit with best-in-class technical expertise focused on the design-build delivery of infrastructure projects. Responsibilities + Develop Water resources/drainage design concepts using AutoCAD + Develop presentation exhibits using AutoCAD + Investigate alternate intersection/interchange concepts Qualifications + Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related degree with a focus on hydraulics or hydrology courses + GPA above 3.0 preferred + Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel. + Strong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job done. + Good written and verbal communication skills. + Coursework in transportation, and AutoCAD software + Be willing to fully participate in job assignments at the job site, district office or department to which the intern is assigned Other Requirements: u2022 Regular, reliable attendance u2022 Work productively and meet deadlines timely u2022 Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment u2022 Perform work safely and effectively.
