Assistant Superintendent (Traveling)

Job Title: Assistant SuperintendentJob Description We are seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to join our team, managing healthcare projects including interior renovations and additions. This role involves overseeing urgent care facilities, labs, healthcare offices, and hospital settings. Responsibilities + Manage and oversee all on-site activities daily. + Coordinate and schedule subcontractors effectively. + Create daily progress reports for the owner's team and internal team. + Coordinate material deliveries to ensure timely project progression. + Conduct progress meetings with clients to ensure alignment and satisfaction. + Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed on site. Essential Skills + At least 2+ years of experience as a project assistant superintendent on healthcare, interiors, or SCIF room projects. + Proven ability to manage subcontractors on site. + Strong skills in coordinating tight schedules in both occupied and unoccupied spaces. + Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints. + Extensive experience in interior renovation projects. + Experience with urgent care and acute care in hospital construction. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and smaller renovation projects on the same site. + Capability to facilitate relationships with clients to support business development. + Experience in creating delivery plans and scheduling materials. Work Environment The role involves working on-site as part of a project team, with most projects in existing and clean healthcare facilities. The candidate will report to a Project Manager and may work with an Assistant Project Manager and Assistant Superintendent, depending on the project's size. An office space within the facility is usually provided for administrative tasks. Opportunities for travel and relocation are available for those interested, offering exposure to a wide variety of projects across the country. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ANNAPOLIS JUNCTION, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $85000.00/hr.
