The position is responsible for project management of the engineering and design activities in the vertical related to assigned functional area such as the performance of the planning, engineering, design, and construction efforts in accordance with the plans with the guidance of higher-level project managers. The project manager will be working with higher-level project managers to complete projects that support our customer. The project manager also works with in-house and client engineers and designers. Primary Duties and Responsibilities + Perform intermediate-to-advanced-level project management work activities and projects requiring the application of project management knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient, and economic accomplishment of assigned objectives. + Develop, review, and coordinate the project plan, schedule, budget, activities, materials, equipment, tools, and staff. + Assist in developing and scoping documents, deliverables, and cost estimates. + Assist in data gathering and analysis for the reporting on the project progress, scheduled deliverables, and budget. + Identify, clarify, and make recommendations for solutions to project plan deviations and work-related problems with least impact and risk through analysis of reports and records; evaluate multiple solutions and interpret the results of the technical analysis. + Hold contractors accountable to the system safety process. + Provide recommendations as an active participant of a project management team; communicate and coordinate with customers and interconnected companies on issues. + Support project management team members: provide guidance and training, as assigned; review work of other team members, as assigned. + Utilize technical interfaces of project management and provide technical support to team. Education and Experience Requirements + Bacheloru2019s Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or Engineering from ABET accredited university + Eight+ years of experience in project management with capital projects + Eight+ years of experience interfacing with engineering procurement and construction personnel + Eight+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Requisite Abilities and Skills + Demonstrate ability to manage time effectively and efficiently, show capable of having organizational and planning skills, as well as having an aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail. + Strong written and verbal communication + Team player with ability to work in a highly cross-functional and virtual environment + Ability to plan, set, and achieve goals + Superior level of personal character and integrity Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Reno, NV. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
