Global Supply Planner at BASF in Parma, Idaho, United States Job Description Now hiring Global Supply Planner Parma, ID (Hybrid) We are looking for a Global Supply Planner to join our Agricultural Solutions team for our BASF Nunhems Vegetable Seed business in Parma, ID. The Global Supply Planner is responsible for managing the availability to match the supply versus demand on short term. Manage the global inventory to achieve our inventory targets, support the global production planning process and coach and support the Regional Supply Planners. As a Global Supply Planner, you create chemistry by… + Supporting Global Supply Chain Management in tactical S&OP (production planning), including preparing and analyzing relevant data + Executing stock seed planning to meet production and processing needs + Driving availability for main processing entities by ensuring timely seed movement between production areas and processing facilities + Owning Operational S&OP for regional and global availability + Conducting monthly availability follow-ups and communicating status to stakeholders + Monitoring usability data closely to keep information current and actionable + Chairing the Operational Supply Review Meeting, covering global availability (regional and SF/ST levels), financial impacts, red/black stock, seed production plan effects, and safety stock allocation + Managing global inventory in accordance with supply chain strategies and policies (e.g., country-of-origin and phytosanitary requirements) + Setting and managing global priorities for seed supply and processing + Monitoring execution of the Global Trial Flow against the agreed framework to ensure lead times are met + Functionally steering and collaborating closely with Regional Supply Planners + Completing administrative tasks required to execute drop-shipments and Processing POs If you… + Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Agronomy, or a related field (master’s degree preferred) + Have 8-10 years of experience in supply chain, preferably with exposure to international operations + Possess advanced To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
