A Snapshot of Your Day(position overview) Siemens Energy is seeking motivated individuals for therole of Field Service Commissioning Engineer for the North America FieldService organization. This position will support the Aero-Derivative, Small andMedium Gas Turbine fleet. This position is responsible for performing variousfacets involving the installation, commissioning, and servicing of the AGT,SGT, and MGT units. The position is the primary source of technical informationand services at our customer sites. You will serve as the link between ourcustomers and the Districts, including but not limited to, management, sales,and technical support. This role requires a dedicated training program to become acertified Siemens Energy CE. Training is conducted partly in the US and in Europe. How Youu2019ll Make an Impact (responsibilities) u00b7 Overseeall phases of Field Service Engineering during the commissioning of projects. u00b7 Accountablefor the installation, initial testing, operation, maintenance, repairs,troubleshooting, and modifications of the fleet and systems within PowerGeneration. u00b7 Strivefor a good customer relationship utilizing a positive and solution-orientedattitude. u00b7 Maintaininggood progress in co-operation with both the customer team and Siemens Energyproject team. u00b7 Prepare and issue detailed reports regardingscope executed, the condition and recommendations for customer equipment. u00b7 Ensure all activitiesadhere to Siemens Energyu2019s safety, health, and environmental standards, as wellas OEM work standards and procedures. What You Bring (requirements) + High School diploma, GED or technicalvocational or apprenticeship training, combined with prior control fieldservice or equivalent related experience. 8+ yearsu2019 experience ininstrumentation and control systems, PLCu2019s, etc. + u00b7Experience working in the field within industrywith focus on mechanical and/or electrical work. + u00b7Experience from managing/leading small teams isan advantage but not required. + Open to travelboth in the US/Canada region but also globally and work for 1-6 weeks at atime (occasionally longer). Typically, the role is on active assignmentsapproximately 70% of the year and traveling under short notice. u00b7 Applicants must belegally authorized for employment in the United States without need for currentor future employer-sponsored work authorization.
