Principal Duties and Responsibilities: u2022 Serve as tier II support of contact for IS-related issues by responding to requests or incidents (break/fix, refresh, deployment related tasks) u2022 Gather needed information from users that will assist in the timely resolution of requests. u2022 Identify situations requiring urgent attention, to better prioritize and route to appropriate area. u2022 Provide accurate and timely logging and resolution of issues in the Service Management system. u2022 Take ownership of user issues, follow the status of issues on behalf of the user, and communicate progress in a timely manner. u2022 Responsible for continuous improvement. u2022 Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: u2022 Technical aptitude and a working knowledge of fundamental operations of Windows, PC, laptop and server hardware, and related IT equipment such as printers, wireless devices, and scanners. u2022 Clear, confident, and calming voice tone when interacting with users. u2022 Maintain a questioning attitude until useru2019s issues are understood. u2022 Ability to think and act quickly. u2022 Detail oriented and thorough follow up. u2022 Expertise in conflict resolution and emotional intelligence. u2022 Ability to manage relationships, conflict, and communication with a high-level of proficiency. u2022 Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills required to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external contacts. u2022 Excellent customer service skills and the ability to translate technical information into user-friendly terminology. u2022 Present a professional and polished appearance. u2022 One on One and small group teaching skills. u2022 Exceptional problem solving and technical skills. u2022 Time management skills. u2022 Have a polite, friendly, and empathetic presence both virtually and in person.
