Reference #: 352345Primary DetailsTime Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeThe purpose of this role is to drive business growth and profitability by building and maintaining relationships with key retail and wholesale brokers and shaping and executing on our distribution strategy.Strategic Broker Engagement LeaderLocation: USA -New York- Hybrid and PA-RemoteWork Arrangement: HybridThe salary range for this role is:$216,000-405,000KThe OpportunityThe purpose of this role is to drive business growth and profitability by building and maintaining relationships with key retail and wholesale brokers and shaping and executing on our distribution strategy.Responsibilities:Build and enhance awareness of QBE's offerings and value propositions with brokers within assigned geography with a focus on office leaders and account executivesManage a portfolio of national broker relationshipsServe as a primary point of contact for retail and wholesale brokers within the region, building trusted relationships that promote growth and retentionAct as a liaison to one or more our underwriting product teams to the North American Distribution teamSupport Construction team in business development within the regionFacilitate regional pipelining discussions for global brokers and associated follow up activities, working closely with assigned underwriting leadersDevelop and grow databases of regional broker contacts and target accounts in coordination with the Distribution analytics teamWork Experience:Preferred ExperienceDeep relationships with brokers both in the geographical region and at the national levelExperience in relationship management and/or business developmentProficiency in using data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure successAbility to negotiate, persuade, and influence both directly and indirectlyDeep relationships with brokers both in the geographical region and at the national levelQualifications:Necessary Qualifications include:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience10+ years of Commercial and Specialty Insurance experienceCompensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate's professional background, including their education and experience.
