Please visitmore information.The Director of Analytics & Automation is responsible for leading enterprise analytics and automation capabilities to accelerate insight generation, improve operational efficiency, and drive measurable business value. This role will drive the analytics and automation roadmap, establish standards and governance, and partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to scale datadriven decisionmaking and automation across the organization. The right leader will form strong trusted partnerships with functional analytics centers of excellence (COEs) while leading a central team that provides training and manages the enterprise platform. This role collaborates closely with fellow Data & AI leaders including the Data Governance, Enterprise Data Architecture and AI leads. The role also includes people leadership, capability building, and executivelevel influence. The right leader will think beyond traditional project delivery and have the expertise to focus on capability and product development.Essential Functions/ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute the enterprise analytics and automation strategy aligned to business priorities and digital transformation goals.Establish a clear roadmap for guided self-service, advanced analytics, and automation.Act as a senior advisor to executive and functional leaders on analytics, automation, and insight generation.Drive value-based prioritization, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes.Ensure strong analytical practices, including data modeling, visualization standards, and insight storytelling.Lead analytics-adjacent and process automation initiatives that improve efficiency, quality, and cycle time.Partner with automation, engineering, and business teams to identify, assess, and prioritize automation opportunities.Ensure automation solutions are well-governed, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture and standards.Oversee benefits tracking and post-implementation value realization for data and analytics products.Establish and enforce analytics and automation standards, best practices, and governance models.Partner with data governance teams to improve data quality, KPI governance, metadata, and trust in analytics outputs.Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and privacy requirements relevant to data and automation solutions.Lead team of employees, CWs and offshore resources, leveraging consulting partners as needed to achieve scalePromote responsible, ethical, and compliant use of data and analytics.Transform data into actionable insights and recommendations to identify trends and patterns and generates insights for business leadersProvide guidance on best practices for data visualization and considerations of UI / UX for ease of user consumptionCollaborate with functional analysts and data science leads to create a community of practicePartner with Data & AI team colleagues and DEC product owners to ead analytics community and provide guidance on the optimal analytics solution to meet business needsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities7+ years of relevant project experience in successfully launching, planning, and executing data analytics projects, including end to end data engineering, modeling and analytics deliveryProven experience working in highly collaborative cross-functional teams and delivering solutions through both waterfall and agile project deliveryExperience with a hub and spoke capability model including functional centers of excellence paired with IT led central capabilitiesExperience in applying analytics solutions to all areas of life sciences including R&D, Commercial and Manufacturing preferredFluency in multiple analytics and automation solutions such as SQL, Power BI, Power Automate, R, PythonExcels at collaboration and problem solving with varied stakeholders and technical teamsAdherence to best practices for crafting maintainable and modular codeAbility to communicate complex projects, models, and results to a diverse audience with a wide range of understandingStrong problem solving and interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a diverse team including IT and functional analytics teams.Proven experience working in a consultative and collaborative manner with cross-functional teams, overseeing projects and ensuring timely resultsStrong data visualization capabilities complemented by a knack for data-driven storytellingPassionate about promoting a data driven culture while operating with integrity and ensuring responsible and ethical data usageCommitted to forming trusting and collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders to drive capability roadmaps and enable guided self-service modelsPrior experience in biotechnology industry or consulting experience requiredExperience leading teams comprised of MSPs, CWs, employees and consulting partnersTravel: 10-20%Required/Preferred Education and LicensesBachelor's or Master's degree, with relevant additional course work / training in computer science, data science, statistics, or a related fieldCandidates will ideally have a specialization in Data Analytics, Statistics, ML or AI#LI-RemoteFOR US BASED CANDIDATES ONLYJazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the full and complete base pay range is: $188,000.00 - $282,000.00Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinent factors. The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, within the established pay framework and our Total Compensation philosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influence individual base pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on a regular basis.At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.The successful candida
