This role is responsible for maximizing the value of Eatonu2019s ERP SAP platforms (ECC and S/4) by driving industry leading DevSecOps methodologies, tools, and processes. The Director will enable rapid deployment, reusability, standardization, and operational excellence across a complex landscape with multiple SAP instances. You will lead the strategy to embed AI, automation, and SAP BTP innovations into daily IT and business operations to improve efficiency, scalability, system health, and stability. This role partners closely with internal leaders and external industry experts to bring best practices, emerging trends, and continuous improvement to Eatonu2019s ERP ecosystem. As Product Owner, you will define and champion the vision for the ERP DevSecOps product, guide the roadmap, align work to enterprise business objectives, and oversee execution through your Scrum or Kanban teams. This position includes direct leadership responsibility for a team of analysts and engineers delivering business outcomes across the ERP product domain. The expected annual salary range for this role is $182000 - $266000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. What youu2019ll do: DevSecOps & Technical Strategy u2022 Lead ERP DevOps processes across all SAP instances, ensuring code quality, cybersecurity, change & release management, and solution reusability. u2022 Develop an enterprise-wide automated ERP test strategy. u2022 Build and maintain the SAP BTP strategy and roadmap. u2022 Introduce and scale AI, automation, and DevSecOps practices across product teams and portfolios. Product Ownership u2022 Define and champion the product vision, roadmap, epics, and long-term strategy in partnership with senior leaders. u2022 Own and prioritize the product backlog, including user stories, features, technical debt, and continuous improvement activities. u2022 Manage full lifecycle product funding, resource allocation, and budget accountability. u2022 Develop product personas, customer journeys, KPIs, and outcome measures. u2022 Communicate goals for product increments, releases, and sprint objectives. u2022 Serve as the voice of the customer across IT and business teams. Leadership & Governance u2022 Lead, develop, and coach a team of IT professionals to deliver product capabilities and improve performance. u2022 Ensure product stability, support, and adherence to governance requirements including cybersecurity, data, policy, and compliance. u2022 Drive continuous improvement of product processes (Lean, Agile, Scrum, DevSecOps). u2022 Support secure product development lifecycle practices across engineering. u2022 Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and partner strategy. Cross-Functional Collaboration u2022 Work closely with business stakeholders to understand priorities, define outcomes, and align product delivery to business needs. u2022 Guide product owners and scrum masters across the ERP portfolio using industry best practices. u2022 Collaborate across global teams, business units, and engineering groups to ensure consistent adoption and value realization. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree from an accredited institution. u2022 10 years of IT experience (analyst, project manager, engineer, program lead) on highly complex technology projects. u2022 2 years of experience managing people. u2022 Authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications u2022 Advanced degree. u2022 Product Owner certification. u2022 Strong understanding of SAP platforms and ERP DevOps processes. u2022 Deep knowledge of QA/testing methodologies with emphasis on automation. u2022 Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles. u2022 Experience with modern software development practices (code management, APIs, automation, microservices, cloud). u2022 Proven success managing and developing professional teams. u2022 Executive level communication and stakeholder management skills. u2022 Experience with design thinking methodologies. u2022 Expertise in building and managing product roadmaps. u2022 Strong grasp of lean portfolio and product management principles. u2022 Data-driven decision-making mindset. u2022 Financial/budget management experience. u2022 Proven ability to influence and drive change across organizational boundaries. u2022 Experience working with diverse, global teams and cultures.
