Job Description The QA / Test Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications, with an initial emphasis on manual testing (approximately 75%) and a growing focus on automated testing (approximately 25%, increasing over time). This role is ideal for a hands-on tester who is strong in manual test execution today and eager to continue building automation skills as the QA practice matures. In this role, the engineer will execute detailed manual test cases, design and maintain automated tests using Playwright with JavaScript (preferred) or Selenium with C# or Java, and collaborate closely with developers and product teams to identify defects early in the development lifecycle. The QA Engineer will contribute to test planning, defect tracking, and continuous improvement of testing processes to support reliable, high quality releases. ________________________________________ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES u2022u2003Execute manual test cases across UI and API layers to validate functionality, workflows, and edge cases. u2022u2003Develop, maintain, and expand automated test scripts, with automation coverage increasing over time. u2022u2003Perform regression, smoke, and exploratory testing to ensure application stability across releases. u2022u2003Identify, document, and track defects clearly, partnering with developers to drive timely resolution. u2022u2003Participate in test planning, story refinement, and sprint activities to ensure quality is built in early. u2022u2003Analyze test results and provide clear feedback on risk, coverage, and release readiness. u2022u2003Contribute to improving QA processes, test frameworks, and overall testing strategy. u2022u2003Support quality throughout the SDLC, from requirements validation through deployment.
