Staff Accountant

Description Our client, an accounting firm, is in search of a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant/Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team, initially on a contract basis with the possibility of converting to full-time employment. Responsibilities: + Manage and execute all aspects of our clientsu2019 bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and payroll processing. + Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments. + Forecast revenue and expenditures and devise methods for reducing costs. + Execute month-end and year-end close procedures. + Assist with tax preparation and filing process. + Analyze financial reports for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the clientu2019s attention. + Utilize QuickBooks Online to document and report on financial transactions. + Advise clients on their financial status and ensure legal requirements are complied with. + u2022 Take on full cycle accounting for multiple clients, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up to date u2022 Prepare Journal Entries as needed, ensuring all entries are accurate and reflect the correct financial data u2022 Prepare financial statements, providing clear and accurate financial snapshots of each client Requirements u2022 Possess a minimum of two years of experience in a Staff Accountant/Full Charge Bookkeeper role or similar u2022 Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management u2022 Experience in Bank Reconciliations and maintaining General Ledger u2022 Skilled in creating and managing Journal Entries u2022 Capable of performing Month End Close procedures u2022 Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting and financial tasks u2022 Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred u2022 Strong analytical skills and attention to detail u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills u2022 Ability to work independently and as part of a team u2022 Strong organizational and multitasking abilities u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel The successful candidate will have exceptional analytical skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial data to clients.
