Monday Night Brewing is an award-winning craft brewery based out of Atlanta, with a distribution footprint across Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee. We currently operate two taprooms in Atlanta, GA and a taproom in Birmingham, AL, a full-service taproom in Nashville, TN, a taproom in Charlotte, NC, and a taproom in Knoxville, TN. Monday Night Brewing is seeking part-time Bartender to join our growing team and operate the bar in the taproom at Monday Night Preservation Co. (Nashville, TN). Bartenders are responsible for demonstrating enthusiasm and top-notch hospitality, knowledge about beer and willingness to share with others, ensuring compliance with alcohol laws, and going above and beyond to make the guests' Monday Night experience memorable and comfortable. Our Beer Program: + Took Gold and Silver at Great American Beer Festival (2025) + Named #2 Best Brewery in the Country by U.S. Open Beer Championship (2024) + Took four Gold and four Bronze at U.S. Open Beer Championship (2024) + Took Gold, Silver and Bronze at U.S. Open Beer Championship (2023) + Took Gold at World Beer Cup (2023) + Took Gold, Bronze at World Beer Cup (2022) + Named #2 Best Brewery in the Country by U.S. Open Beer Championship (2020) + Took three Gold medals and one Silver medal in U.S. Open Beer Championship (2020) + Named #3 Best Brewery in the Country by Beer Connoisseur (2019 & 2020) + Took a Gold, Silver and Bronze medal at Great American Beer Fest (2017) Reports to: u2022 General Manager High-Level Goals: u2022 Ensure customers receive an excellent experience u2022 Understand and abide by federal and state alcohol regulations u2022 Be responsible for positions/duties assigned in the Taproom FOH including all bar duties, cleaning, POS and other tasks as assigned Responsibilities include: u2022 Ensure guests have an excellent experience with our products and service expectations from entering to leaving u2022 Responsible for opening and/or closing checklists for the bar, dining, common areas, and patio u2022 Stock bar with glassware, supplies, alcohol and fresh beer u2022 Use a point-of-sale system and cash drawers to ring up cash and credit transactions, as well as manage open bar tabs u2022 Prepare drinks according to prescribed menus and portioning u2022 Serve drinks and food items to customers in the taproom and patio areas u2022 Responsible for safe practices at all times and assisting with the cleaning of the taproom including seating areas, restrooms, bar areas, patios, parking lot etc. u2022 Follow the guidelines for taproom and patio experience including music selection and volume, video display, and games, etc. u2022 Work closely with taproom leaders to complete any tasks needed u2022 Support Monday Night Brewing public and private evens with tasks as needed, including but not limited to: furniture moves, table set up, decoration installs, pop-and-pour beer tents, event breakdown, bartending, etc. u2022 Follow all federal and state alcohol regulations about serving alcohol Qualifications u2022 Must be 21 + u2022 Prior craft beer or bartending experience preferred u2022 Team player that is self-motivated, good problem-solving abilities, and the ability to communicate effectively with fellow coworkers and guests with a hospitality mindset u2022 Willingness and enthusiasm to learn about beer and share that knowledge with others u2022 Proactively looking for ways to increase guest experience in a positive way u2022 Willingness and ability to step in wherever needed u2022 Flexible work schedule, primarily weekends, some holidays, and evenings u2022 Ability to work at least 3 weekends a month. u2022 Ability to demonstrate Monday Night values Optional, But Not Required u2022 Karaoke star u2022 May or may not love to play boardgames Physical Requirements u2022 Ability to climb, lift, reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift at least 40 pounds u2022 Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours in a hot, wet, humid and loud environment.
