Description Account Executive, Education (Secure Endpoint)The successful candidate will be based remote in the North East (NY,NJ,PA,MA,CT,HN,VT,RI,ME) Working as part of Absolute’s award-winning Sales team, we arelooking for a results-driven, self-motivatedTerritory Account Executiveto join our fast-growing business in the Northeast Region forour US Secure Endpoint Education Business.The Account Executive is a critical member of the Security Salesorganizationandis responsible for a robust business across nine Northeast States. In this role, you will be responsible for drivingrevenue growth fromnet new account acquisitions, as well asdriving expansion within and across departments in existing customers. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and self-directed individual that can create and execute territory and sales strategy for the territory. This role reports to theAVP of Sales Education (High Ed / K12).Absolute's Secure Endpoint technology provides security solutions for millions of devices deployed around the world and is the only software solution of its kind embedded in the firmware of every major PC device worldwide. Customers choose the Secure Endpoint solution for its unique ability to track, trace and recover endpoint devices while delivering best in class protection and persistence of the customer’s security posture.Requirements&Responsibilities:Proven track record of sales success in the enterprise software industry with strong understanding of the Public Sector Market, specializing in K12 and/or Higher EducationProven track record of developing, implementing, and executing strong territory management strategyBecome a trusted advisor and product expert to all customers regarding network and endpoint securityShare customer best practices and acquire customer referencesAttend onsite customer meetings and eventsDevelop and execute a territory sales strategy and managing a large customer base and geographyDirect high-touch sales experience to K12 and Higher Education accounts of all sizes, managing sometimes complex, lengthy sales cyclesData mine high potential accounts, identify key accounts and contacts to engageFollow up on all leads provided through marketing resources in a timely and effective mannerWork with channel partners to create leads and close joint businessDevelop and maintain a high lead conversion rateMaintain a high daily rate of targeted outbound activityEffective tech stack utilization across , Clari, Outreach, Gong, DemandBase, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn NavigatorBuild and maintain a four-quarter rolling 3x pipeline, ensuring an accurate forecastMaintain a high level of customer and activity dataWillingness to travel up to 50%Protect the security and privacy of Absolute and its customersOther duties as assigned by managementWhatYou WillNeed:To get up to speed quickly in this position it is important that you have 5+ years ofenterprisesoftware sales experience and/or 5+ years of experience in PC hardware salesAn intimate understanding of selling in the Public Sector and own key partner and customer relationships in the K12 and Higher Education CommunityYou must be passionate about selling technology solutions and be able to communicate the value proposition to audiences of varying levels of seniority and technical understanding.Must bementally agile, can process and retain complex information with ease and be both articulate and engagingKnowledge of Security software market as a technology or set of technologiesSelling SaaSplatforms a plusExtremely strong ability to build relationships, prospect and qualify new opportunitiesvia Pipeline Growth activitiesProven experience selling and presenting to senior leaders and executivesAbility to communicate with people at all levels inside the organizationAbility to negotiate long-term license agreements directly with customers and transact through partnersStrong business acumenThe ability toover-achieve goals, highly organized with a desire to win, strong drive for resultsProven success in State & Local Government market strongly preferredExperience selling with & through various state contracts and other government purchase vehiclesExperience with MEDDPICC and Force Management methodologies strongly preferredWhy Work For Us:You’re resilient and passionate about securing the Work from Anywhere era.
