ASnapshot of Your Day A Category Manager is the owner of a respective category,focused on the relevant Business Area, Local Business, Facilities andStakeholder. In this strategic position, you will develop and implement aresilient category strategy & contingent workforce program fully alignedwith the Siemens Energy Ecosystem strategy, broader business strategy, andoperational objectives. In addition, you will manage all procurementu2011relatedactivities for the Contingent Workforce Program (CWP) in the USA and Canada ,supporting a rapidly growing and highly dynamic market. Acting as an entrepreneurfor the CWP , you will work in close collaboration with HR, our MSP (ManagedService Provider), Business Stakeholders, and crossu2011functional partners toensure competitiveness, availability of workforce resources, efficientprocesses, and strong supplier performance. This role is ideal for someone who blends strategic thinkingwith operational excellence, enjoys taking ownership, and thrives in a highu2011growth,crossu2011functional environment. u00b7 How Youu2019ll Make an Impact u00b7 Manage the assigned category within your area ofresponsibility. u00b7 Steer all procurement activities for the ContingentWorkforce Program (CWP) in the USA & Canada in a fastu2011growing marketenvironment. u00b7 Act as an entrepreneur for the CWP u2014shaping strategic direction, ensuring operational excellence, and partneringclosely with HR and Business Stakeholders. u00b7 Define and execute a sourcing strategy inalignment with the business, Ecosystem strategy, and Global Commodity Managers(GCMs). u00b7 Lead the Category Circle with crossu2011functionalsupport to drive transparency, alignment, and targeted decisionu2011making. What You Bring u00b7 Bacheloru2019s degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering,or related field; Masteru2019s degree preferred. u00b7 Several years of experience in Procurement,Category/Commodity Management, Strategic Sourcing, or Contingent WorkforceManagement. u00b7 Strong stakeholder management skills and experience workingwith HR and business leaders. u00b7 Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and ability tomanage complex supplier landscapes. u00b7 Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to driveinitiatives independently and influence crossu2011functional teams. u00b7 Excellent communication and negotiation skills; comfortableworking in a fastu2011paced, growth environment. u00b7 Applicants must be legally authorized foremployment in the United States without need for current or futureemployer-sponsored work authorization.
