Eatonu2019s ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking a Senior Industrial Outside Sales Engineer. This is a hybrid-based position and candidates must reside within 50 miles of our El, Paso, TX location to be considered for this position. What youu2019ll do: Position Overview: The primary function of the Sales Engineer is to sell assigned product lines focusing on the Commercial and Industrial verticals targeting customers in the El Paso, TX/New Mexico area. This position will be responsible to achieve the assigned sales goal consistent with the expectations of a thoroughly seasoned professional sales engineer for the assigned product categories while under little supervision. It will be an expectation to optimize sales volume, product mix and profit margin, while increasing sales in the marketplace. This position will need to coordinate sales for the assigned customer and distributor base. It has the responsibility to manage all aspects of the customer relationship, providing sales and technical assistance with distributors, customers, end users and specifiers. Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree from an accredited institution u2022 Minimum three (3) years of electrical industry experience u2022 Possess a valid driveru2019s license u2022 No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of El Paso, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Skills: Position Criteria: u2022 Possess excellent communication skills u2022 Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future u2022 Time management, presentation and planning skills u2022 Knowledge of Eaton electrical product and service capabilities u2022 Possesses an understanding of the sales process using sales techniques as evidenced by good customer relationships u2022 Knowledge of Bidmanager and Vista u2022 Demonstrate an understanding of market trends, industry issues and knowledge of competitors u2022 Effective teamwork skills u2022 Ability to leverage support personnel to meet customer and organizational needs u2022 Ability to travel up to 25% The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $107,250 - $157,300. Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
