LPN Treatment Wound Nurse

Caton Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center - Key Responsibilities Wound Examination and Management: Conduct thorough examination of wounds, including pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, and surgical wounds. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings. Patient Care: Provide direct wound care, including dressing changes, debridement, and infection control measures. Monitor patients for signs of infection or complications and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Preventive measures to promote healing and prevent recurrence. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress treatment plansQualificationsEducation: Licensed in the state of NY, Certification as a Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) or similar credentials is preferred.Experience: Previous experience in wound care or a related nursing specialty is highly desirable. Familiarity with various wound care products and techniques is essential.Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
