This role offers the opportunity to manage critical infrastructure projects, partner with multidisciplinary teams and clients, and continue building your project management and leadership capabilities within a supportive, growth‑focused environment.Perform detailed evaluations of water/wastewater treatment processes, including aeration systems, chemical feed systems, PFAS treatment, and pump sizingConduct structural and condition assessments for process tanks, clarifiers, and other treatment infrastructure to determine repair, retrofit, or replacement needsManage water, wastewater, and sewer projects from development of project proposals through completion, providing environmentally friendly and cost-effective solutionsLead engineering design efforts from concept through bid ready documents, including system layout, process design, and technical specificationsDevelop hydraulic and process calculations and ensure engineering solutions meet regulatory, operational, and safety requirementsOversee full project delivery—including scope, budget, schedule, client communication, contracts, purchase orders, documentation, and financial management (subcontractor payments, invoices, and monthly operations reviews)Develop multi-discipline engineering (civil, structural, electrical, mechanical/process) and project-specific health and safety plans and ensure QA/QC compliance as determined by the Quality Management PlanCommunicate updates clearly to clients, management, and project teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of projectsBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering requiredMinimum of 5 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required; minimum of 2 years of project management experience requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredStrong technical background in water/wastewater treatment processes, including pump sizing, process evaluations, chemical feed systems, and PFAS treatment designAbility to assess and interpret structural and process conditions of tanks, clarifiers, and treatment systemsProven ability to manage scope, budget and schedule of technical tasksAdvanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) as well as Microsoft OfficeStrong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering lawsStrong leadership, organization, problem-solving, and multitasking skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindsetKnowledge of Deltek Vision preferredParticipation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred Step into a role where you can own projects end‑to‑end, applying both your engineering foundation and growing project management skills to complex water and wastewater initiativesBuild momentum in your career through hands‑on leadership opportunities, client interaction, and collaboration with experienced technical and project delivery teamsSee the direct impact of your work as you help plan, design, and deliver infrastructure solutions that safeguard public health and support resilient communitiesCurious about the impactful work our Water team is doing?
