NOW Hiring!Salon Hair AssistantPay rate: $17.87 / HourSchedule Tues & Sat 9:00am - 5:00pm Wed - Fri 11:00am - 7:30pmLocation: Hollywood, CAJob Summary:The Salon Hair Assistant will perform various routine duties to support the salon and Stylists.Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceDuties & Responsibilities:Comb, brush, spray, shampoo, condition, and Cleanse hair.Apply temporary hair color and remove residual color products.Apply and maintain safe and hygienic work practices such as cleaning combs and other equipment.Maintain work areas by sweeping floors and cleaning benches and shelves.Assist with salon reception duties such as answering telephone calls, making appointments, seating clients, and taking payments.Prepare refreshments for clients.Assist senior staff with tasks.Maintain salon presentation, and product displays and replenish inventory.Performs other duties as assigned.Required Skills & Abilities:Excellent verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and special events.Able to travel periodically to east coast requiredEducation & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.Current Cosmetologist License required.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the salon space.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.An Equal Opportunity EmployerWe do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, genetic information, or any other status protected by law or regulation.
