Our mission is to consistently provide our customers with superior value through quality products, service and support by contributing to the quality of life of all employees.As one of the nation's largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions is expanding its team and seeking aSite Safety Representativeto join FSG.As aSite Safety Representative, you will assist the Safety Coordinator and Safety Manager in eliminating or controlling at risk behaviors or conditions resulting from human error, equipment and machine operations which may lead to human injury and/or property damage. Assist the Safety Coordinator and Safety Manager, as needed, in incidents involving injury or property damage. Assist the Safety Coordinator and Safety Manager, as needed to coordinate site safety inspections for compliance against OSHA regulations and company policies and procedures. Assist the Safety Coordinator and Safety Manager, as needed, in training and educating employees and supervisors on OSHA requirements and company policies and procedures.A Site Safety Representative will:Will be assigned territory to inspect and verify compliance of OSHA regulations as well as company policies and proceduresInvestigate reported and presumed incidents involving injury or property damageEnsure that PTPs are performed in accordance with company policyEnsure that all assigned job sites have required paperwork and signageAssist in safety compliance trainingPromote safe practices and policy compliance in all settingsAssist in the administration for fleet services and assigned company equipmentPerform daily safety audits for construction, service and data departmentsInteract and communicate with all levels of management in a professional mannerAssist in presenting, train and communicating with large groups, as neededWill report to the Safety Coordinator and Safety Manager3 years electrical construction or related experienceMust have prior safety experienceMust be able to pass a background checkMust have an active OSHA 30 in Construction, not General IndustryStrongly prefer current journeyman's license or electrical apprentice licenseMust be available for OT and weekends as requiredMust posses valid drivers licenseAs an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status. #indUSD $20.00 - USD $28.00 /Hr.
