Security Operations Lead

Job Description A construction and construction materials company is seeking a Security Operations Lead to join their Cybersecurity team. This person will be supporting all areas of cyber security operations including: email security, endpoint security, web & cloud security, and some network security activities. This role will require about 20% general cybersecurity support (emails, tickets and alerts), 30% team management and mentorship (team size 3 other members), and 50% projects around security tooling, new implementations/deployments, upgrades, and solutioning other security projects and initiatives. This role will be primarily remote, with up to 15% travel into the office or site on an annual basis. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Skills and Requirements 7+ years of experience in a Cybersecurity Operations related role Proficient in IT Security tools such as vulnerability management, endpoint detection and response, SIEM/SOC, Email Secure Gateway, Web filtering, SSL decryption, and Next-Gen firewalls Strong Proofpoint experience for email monitoring (and other Proofpoint tools) Experience with solutioning and deploying/implementing security tools into an environment Experience with managing and/or mentoring a cybersecurity team including conducting 1:1s, ensuring goals are met, and tracking workloads/daily activities Experience integrating AI into cybersecurity tools or processes Looking to move from Varonis to Proofpoint DSPM - Data Security Posture Management moving from Meraki firewalls to Fortinet (not as applicable to role but good to know) Experience with Proofpoint ATO or Proofpoint DSPM
