Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Niagara Falls, New York. In this role, you will oversee critical financial processes and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial health and strategic decision-making of the organization. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and analyze monthly financial reporting packages in collaboration with the Corporate Controller. u2022 Create and post journal entries, including operating expense accruals, intercompany eliminations, and depreciation schedules. u2022 Reconcile and maintain prepaid expenses, amortization schedules, and other accrual accounts. u2022 Support the Accounts Payable department as required. u2022 Work closely with project management teams to develop monthly billings and ensure proper tracking of project expenses and profitability. u2022 Oversee billing operations, ensuring timely invoicing and collection from clients, contractors, and vendors. u2022 Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to assess the impact of business decisions and provide actionable insights. u2022 Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organizational policies throughout all accounting processes. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management. u2022 Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management. u2022 Strong knowledge of financial statement audits and compliance. u2022 Expertise in account reconciliation and journal entry preparation. u2022 Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed financial evaluations. u2022 Familiarity with billing procedures and accounts payable support. u2022 Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and manage multiple priorities. u2022 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
