Join us Job Summary and Qualifications The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the planning, directing and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, physicianu2019s orders, recognized nursing techniques, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies. In this position - You will manage efficient flow of patients including screening and assessments You will educate patients and families regarding treatment and medication instructions You will administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders What qualifications you will need: + Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Florida, or + Recognized compact licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provision) + Associateu2019s Degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred + Current BLS & PALS Certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) + 1 year of Acute Care Nursing experience on a Pediatric Unit preferred + NRP & ENPC Certification within 90 days of employment Benefits HCA Florida Palms West Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
