If you share our passion and vision, we invite you to apply now Your tasks and responsibilities as an Ultrasound Technologist (or Sonographer) include but are not limited to: + Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner + Accurately perform sonogram examinations in a timely manner + Be responsible for recording and processing ultrasound images + Maintain statistical results for quality improvement + Maintain proactive and effective communication with radiologists regarding any unusual clinical findings, history, and/or test results Qualifications u00b7 A two-year Allied Health degree or successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP approved program u00b7 Valid ARDMS certification required: RVT (Registered Vascular Tech) or ARDMS AB (abdomen specialty) or ARDMS OB/GYN within 1 year u00b7 Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification u00b7 1-3 years previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist u00b7 Other skills needed: organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, clerical, basic computer, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, reading, comprehension of written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions Benefits HCA Florida Blake Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
