We are currently seeking an energetic Ultrasound Technologist on a part-time basis. If you share our passion and vision, we invite you to apply now Your tasks and responsibilities as an Ultrasound Technologist (or Sonographer) include but are not limited to: + Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner + Accurately perform sonogram examinations in a timely manner + Be responsible for recording and processing ultrasound images + Maintain statistical results for quality improvement + Maintain proactive and effective communication with radiologists regarding any unusual clinical findings, history, and/or test results Qualifications u00b7 A two-year Allied Health degree or successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP approved program u00b7 Valid ARDMS certification required: RVT (Registered Vascular Tech) or ARDMS AB (abdomen specialty) or ARDMS OB/GYN within 1 year u00b7 Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification u00b7 1-3 years previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist u00b7 Other skills needed: organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, clerical, basic computer, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, reading, comprehension of written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions Benefits HCA Florida Blake Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
