Performs and documents daily system quality control (QC) checks in compliance with departmental policies and regulatory requirements. u2022 Positions patients and operates mammography equipment to obtain optimal images, adjusting technical factors and compression as needed. u2022 Ensures patient identification, safety, and comfort, explaining procedures clearly and addressing questions or concerns with professionalism and compassion. u2022 Follows all MQSA, FDA, and ACR guidelines, including quality control testing, equipment performance checks, and documentation requirements. u2022 Collaborates with radiologists and breast imaging team to ensure accurate imaging and timely communication of results or next steps. u2022 Performs other duties as assigned.
