Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate invoice processing and timely payments to vendors. The ideal candidate will bring a strong attention to detail and a proven ability to manage high-volume transactions efficiently. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and verify invoices to ensure accuracy and proper coding. u2022 Maintain and update accounts payable records, ensuring compliance with company policies. u2022 Conduct regular check runs to facilitate timely vendor payments. u2022 Collaborate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain positive relationships. u2022 Prepare and reconcile payment reports for management review. u2022 Monitor accounts payable workflows to identify and address inefficiencies. u2022 Ensure proper documentation and approval processes for all invoices. u2022 Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable. u2022 Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and reports. u2022 Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory standards related to accounts payable. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role. u2022 Proficiency in invoice coding, processing, and reconciliation. u2022 Familiarity with conducting check runs and managing payment schedules. u2022 Strong organizational and time-management skills. u2022 High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions. u2022 Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams. u2022 Knowledge of accounts payable systems and related software. u2022 Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
