Description Senior Manager of Financial Reporting - REMOTE OPPORTUNITY - must live in the Mid Atlantic Region We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Manager of Financial Reporting to oversee and enhance our external reporting processes. In this role, you will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, manage technical accounting matters, and drive improvements in reporting systems and processes. Join us in Edinburg, Virginia, to help us deliver exceptional financial transparency and support for both internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage the preparation and review of quarterly (10-Q) and annual (10-K) filings, along with other required filings such as 8-K and proxy statements. u2022 Ensure the timely collection and preparation of disclosure information to meet financial reporting requirements for both internal and external audiences. u2022 Conduct research on new U.S. accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements, assessing their impact on financial statements and disclosures. u2022 Draft and review financial content for press releases, ensuring accuracy and compliance. u2022 Create detailed technical accounting memos to document positions and support decision-making. u2022 Lead initiatives to streamline and improve external reporting processes for greater efficiency. u2022 Optimize the use of Oracle financial systems and Workiva software to enhance reporting capabilities. u2022 Provide support for corporate accounting areas such as taxation and stock-based compensation. u2022 Collaborate with internal and external audit teams to ensure accurate and timely audits. Requirements u2022 A minimum of 7 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a large public accounting firm. u2022 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and a bachelor's degree in accounting. u2022 Proven expertise in conducting technical accounting research and writing effective position papers. u2022 Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements for publicly traded companies. u2022 Availability to meet the demands of the role and organization, including flexible scheduling as needed. u2022 Strong leadership skills with the ability to solve complex problems and communicate effectively. u2022 Exceptional organizational capabilities and attention to detail. u2022 Familiarity with financial reporting tools such as Workiva and Oracle systems.
