Job Description Summary GE Aerospace is seeking a Director Technical Program Management to join our Finance Digital Technology Team, to lead a project team focused on continuous improvement, try-storm, AI and innovation initiatives for our Finance customers. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement, fostering a culture of innovation, and empowering team members to deliver measurable improvements aligned with Finance, Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) priorities. This role will be responsible for defining the future Finance AI strategy, including learning and engagement strategy with the broader GE Aerospace finance community and senior executive leadership. This role will develop a technical innovation strategy in support of all finance FLIGHT DECK initiatives. This role includes leading an organization of global employees and managed service resources. Effective partnership and collaboration with DT and functional stakeholders including the Finance FLIGHT DECK team is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, project management and FLIGHT DECK methodologies, with a passion for developing talent and driving impactful change. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: u2022 Influence executives and senior executives internally or externally to DT; driving business stakeholder engagement and partnership. u2022 Partners with the business, identifying and implementing process optimization opportunities using FLIGHT DECK principles. u2022 Apply knowledge of business structures and levers that support business, Finance and DT goals, including AI and technical innovation strategies. u2022 Facilitate Kaizen events, root cause analysis and problem-solving sessions to drive improvements. u2022 Ensure the DT and Finance teams adopts and sustains standard work and best practices. u2022 Define the strategy for the future AI adoption in GE Aerospace Finance, including, best practices, governance, operating mechanisms and engagement and education strategies. u2022 Champion try-storm activities to rapidly prototype and test solutions in a controlled environment. u2022 Explore innovative ideas and industry best practices and translate them into actionable projects. u2022 Support the evaluation of new solutions for feasibility, scalability and impact. u2022 Leads and executes hiring, retention and talent development in an area of technical, application and domain expertise aligned to team vision. u2022 Lead, coach and develop a high-performing project team to execute continuous improvement and try-storm AI and innovation projects. u2022 Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages creativity, accountability, and respect for people. u2022 Mentor and coach team members to build their skills in FLIGHT DECK methodologies, project management and innovation practices. u2022 Set clear goals and expectations for team members, aligned with organizational priorities. u2022 Provide regular feedback and development opportunities to help team members grow professionally. u2022 Drives career development within the entire team in line with organizational strategy and talent needs. u2022 Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, support and prioritization against Finance and DT annual priorities. u2022 Ensure all team projects align with SQDC priorities and deliver measurable improvements. u2022 Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team and project success. u2022 Communicate project updates, risks, successes and lessons learned effectively to all levels of the organization. u2022 Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet quality standards. u2022 Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, including targeted material for senior level audiences. u2022 Define change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new/improved finance processes and innovative solutions, including AI. u2022 Address resistance and foster a mindset of continuous improvement across the team and organization. u2022 Act as a role model for embracing change and driving innovation at pace. Minimum Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 11 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 13 years of professional experience. u2022 Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Technical Program/Project Management. u2022 Significant People Leader experience. u2022 Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience u2022 Eligibility Requirement: -Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Desired Characteristics: u2022 Experience in technical program management, with a focus on finance systems and processes. u2022 Strong knowledge of finance systems and FLIGHT DECK methodologies, including Kaizen, Hoshin Kanri and try-storm techniques. u2022 Experience with exploration and early adoption strategies of AI tools and technologies within the Finance domain. u2022 Proven ability to lead and develop teams, manage conflicts and inspire collaboration. u2022 Excellent project management skills, including planning execution and risk management. u2022 Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders t a senior executive level. u2022 Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Ability to maintain a balance with definition of technical strategy and execution of projects to that vision. u2022 Change agent - Identifies opportunities for necessary changes and pursues/leads them when appropriate. u2022 Ability to align technical solutions with continuous improvement objectives and drive long-term sustainment. u2022 Works with senior Finance stakeholders to educate and embrace the implications of change. u2022 Innovates and integrates new processes and/or technology to add value to GE Aerospace.
