What Youu2019ll Do In this role, youu2019ll support a variety of civil and environmental engineering projects. Responsibilities include: + Conducting site, civil, and environmental engineering analyses. + Performing site investigations, field reconnaissance, construction observations, and stormwater analysis and design. + Supporting geotechnical and wastewater design efforts, including pumping systems, flow equalization, and site grading/volume analysis. + Assisting with environmental tasks for government and industrial clients under the direction of project managers. + Evaluating available data and helping develop strategies to complete engineering tasks efficiently and effectively. Required Skills & Experience + Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Construction Engineering. + 2+ years of relevant experience (cou2011ops and partu2011time engineering experience will be considered). + Ability to interpret design documents, permits, and construction process flow diagrams. + Proficiency in PC-based applications (MS Word, Excel). + Strong organization, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills. + Detailu2011oriented with a strong work ethic and a team-first mindset. + Ability to work independently when needed and collaborate effectively with others. + Valid driveru2019s license. + Willingness to travel periodically. + PE registration in NC or SC is preferred, or the ability to obtain it. Preferred Experience Engineering knowledge and interest in: + Civil/environmental engineering + Project or construction management + AutoCAD + Environmental compliance or remediation + Land development + Environmental science + EIT/FE Exam completion is a plus. Experience Level Intermediate Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cary, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
