Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the efficient operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. The role involves completing both planned and unplanned maintenance on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems to ensure a continuous supply of essential services. Responsibilities + Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing maintenance requirements on production, packaging, and processing equipment. + Conduct maintenance on utility systems to provide a continuous supply of heat, steam, cooling, electrical, power, gas, or air required for operation. + Be readily available for emergency repairs and breakdown situations. + Analyze and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. + Complete work orders in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards. + Maintain communication with other departments, management, and employees and notify them of any issues that may restrict production efficiency. + Report unsafe conditions and food safety violations. + Comply with HACCP and GMP protocols to produce safe, quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements. + Maintain safe work practices at all times and ensure good housekeeping in the work area. + Perform other tasks as negotiated with the supervisor. + Work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays. + Pull wire, terminate circuits, troubleshoot PLCs (I/O, not programs), and limit switches. Essential Skills + 3+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in a GMP-regulated environment. + 3+ years of experience troubleshooting mechanical issues. + Mechanical aptitude and preventive maintenance skills. + Experience with electrical, pneumatics, and schematic reading. + Skills in PLC troubleshooting. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Blueprint reading experience. + Experience with electrical schematics is a plus. Why Work Here?
