Senior Finance Manager - FP&A

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager - FP& A to lead pivotal financial planning and analysis activities for our North American Division. In this role, you will collaborate closely with leadership teams across commercial, operations, and supply chain functions to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. This position is based in the Novi, Michigan area and offers the opportunity to shape financial processes, drive cost efficiencies, and support long-term business goals. Responsibilities: u2022 Develop and oversee monthly financial forecasts, providing detailed analysis of performance drivers. u2022 Lead the creation of annual budgets and long-term financial plans to support organizational goals. u2022 Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior leadership in North America. u2022 Deliver in-depth business analysis to support decision-making across commercial, operations, and supply chain teams. u2022 Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, variance analysis, and account reconciliations. u2022 Update standard costs, perform product costing, and conduct margin analysis to optimize profitability. u2022 Coordinate customer pricing updates and assess the financial impact of proposed changes. u2022 Monitor, validate, and report on cost-saving initiatives across the organization. u2022 Supervise and mentor a team of FP& A analysts, encouraging attention to detail and ensuring high-quality output. u2022 Implement improvements to financial processes, tools, and reporting systems to enhance efficiency. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. u2022 At least 5 years of progressive experience in financial roles, preferably in manufacturing or Fortune 500 companies. u2022 Expertise in financial planning and analysis, with a strong understanding of cost accounting. u2022 Proven ability to analyze financial results and provide strategic insights to leadership. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial management tools such as Hyperion. u2022 Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. u2022 Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. u2022 Ability to thrive in a dynamic, matrixed environment while driving process improvements.
