Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to oversee and enhance the accounts payable operations within our organization. Based in Columbus, Ohio, this role involves managing the full spectrum of accounts payable tasks, ensuring compliance, and collaborating closely with finance leadership to meet organizational goals. This position is ideal for an experienced, detail-oriented individual with a proven track record in accounts payable management. Responsibilities: u2022 Supervise the entire accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of all tasks. u2022 Oversee weekly check runs and manage automated clearing house (ACH) payments. u2022 Monitor and analyze aging reports, addressing any discrepancies or overdue accounts. u2022 Maintain strong vendor relationships and handle vendor inquiries effectively. u2022 Manage project budgets and track expenses to ensure alignment with financial goals. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards throughout all accounts payable activities. u2022 Collaborate with finance leadership to support month-end close processes. u2022 Review and approve coding of invoices to ensure proper allocation and accuracy. u2022 Implement and refine processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in accounts payable operations. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounts payable or related financial roles. u2022 Expertise in coding invoices and managing check runs. u2022 Proficiency in Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment processes. u2022 Strong analytical skills for monitoring aging reports and identifying discrepancies. u2022 Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and resolve issues effectively. u2022 Solid understanding of compliance requirements and regulatory standards. u2022 Experience with month-end close procedures and financial reporting. u2022 Exceptional organizational and leadership skills to oversee multiple tasks and priorities.
