Join us THE ROLE The Parking Garage Maintenance Technician plays a key role in keeping the facility safe, clean, and fully operational. This position is responsible for routine maintenance, minor repairs, and daily upkeep of the garageu2019s physical structure, equipment, and grounds. The ideal candidate is reliable, detailu2011oriented, and comfortable working independently. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Facility Upkeep + Perform daily cleaning of parking areas, stairwells, elevators, and common spaces + Remove trash, debris, and spills to maintain a safe environment + Pressureu2011wash surfaces as needed Maintenance & Repairs + Conduct routine inspections of lighting, signage, gates, ticket machines, and ventilation systems + Replace light bulbs, repair minor electrical issues, and report major repairs to management + Perform basic plumbing tasks such as clearing drains or addressing minor leaks + Maintain and repair parking equipment (barrier arms, pay stations, ticket dispensers) Safety & Compliance + Monitor the facility for hazards, structural issues, or safety concerns + Ensure compliance with safety standards and report incidents promptly + Apply ice melt, shovel snow, and maintain safe walkways during winter months Operational Support + Assist customers with parking equipment issues or general inquiries + Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed + Document maintenance activities and submit reports to supervisors QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm.
